Beschreibung

This seminar is focused on current Computer Vision topics and literature that are in the interest of our group.
In everey seminar there is a presenter and a reviewer of a paper. You have to be both once. The timeline then is:
  • problem presentation (5 min.)
  • discussion (10min.)
  • presentation of the solution of the paper (15min.)
  • discussion (5min.)
  • review (10 min.)

  • we will have two papers per seminar
  • you have to hand in your slides and your review
Goals:
  • preparing and giving a scientific presentation, hints: 1, 2
  • leading a discussion
  • understanding current scientific literature
  • learn to gain a critical but fair look at papers by writing and presenting a review, see also ICCV reviewer instructions
You should take a consultation not later than a week before the seminar.
All talks are in English.
